শাফিউল কায়েস

Shafiul Kayes (শাফিউল কায়েস) is a Bangladeshi author, novelist, environmentalist, and journalist. His most popular work is his first short novel Alo Asuk Fire (2019). He was born on May 5, 1999, into a middle-class family at Bahichapara, Nawabgang in Dinajpur, Bangladesh. His father, Md. Habibur Rahman is a high school headmaster and his mother, Akhtara Begum, is a housewife and great mother. Education: Kayes was a student of Ragobinropur Primary School. He passed the SSC exam from Binodnagar High School in 2015 and the HSC exam from Cantonment Public School and College, Bir Uttam Shaheed Mahbub Senanibas in 2017. He graduated from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU), Department of Environmental Science and Disaster Management. Career: Kaye’s inspiration in journalism and writing started during his student life. During his honors studies, he worked as a campus correspondent at Daily Desh Rupantor and The Bangladesh Today for five years. After his graduation, he joined the National Daily English newspaper ‘The Bangladesh Today’ as a Sub-editor (news). He is also a Publisher of the campus-based online news portal The Campus Today (thecampustoday.com).
