"Md. Galib Hossain, Assistant Professor of Statistics, Govt. Titumir College, Dhaka is a very popular and inspirational teacher among his students. He was born in a village named Kahilatali under Singair upazilla in Manikganj district in 1982. He did his BSc Honours and MSc in Statistics from Jahangirnagar University. During his MSc course he accomplished his thesis on ‘On the Bootstraps Confidence Interval and Hypothesis Testing’ under prominent Statistician Professor Dr. Ajit Kumar Majumder. After post-graduation he started his professional career as a banker. But for his devotion for statistics and love for academic career, he pursued the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) and joined the BCS General Education Cadre in 2010. Now he is working as an Assistant Professor of Statistics at Govt. Titumir College, Dhaka. In his 10 years of teaching career, he worked at Govt. MC College, Sylhet, Narayanganj Govt. Mohila College and Vashantek Govt. College, Dhaka with great dignity. His first book Information and Communication Technology (2015) for the higher secondary level demonstrates his great talent. "
