মোহাম্মদ ইসাম

Mohammad Isam was born on May 6, 1984 to Mohammad Yahya and Sayeeda Naila Lopa, inDhaka. He grew up in the quiet neighbourhood of Dhanmondi, where only the game of cricket would produce the loudest noise in the 1990s. He played professional cricket for nine years, and while still a cricketer, joined the Daily Star’s sports section as a sub-editor in 2006. Isam soon grasped what it took to be a reporter. Six years later, he became ESPNcricinfo’s first Bangladesh correspondent. He has covered cricket matches in England, India, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, apart from hundreds of matches at home. Isam is married to Fahmida Wadud Chaity, and has a son, Ibrahim.
