About The Authors Ben S. Bernanke is an American Economist and Professor of public affairs and economics. Apart from this book he has authored and co authored several other books like The Inflation-Targeting Debate, Nber Macroeconomics Annual 1996, The Macroeconomics of the Great Depression: A Comparative Approach, Monetary Policy Alternatives at the Zero Bound: An Empirical Assessment, Essays on the Great Depression and many more.
