About The Authors
Ben S. Bernanke is an American Economist and Professor of public affairs and economics. Apart from this book he has authored and co authored several other books like The Inflation-Targeting Debate, Nber Macroeconomics Annual 1996, The Macroeconomics of the Great Depression: A Comparative Approach, Monetary Policy Alternatives at the Zero Bound: An Empirical Assessment, Essays on the Great Depression and many more. Presently he is designated as the Chairman of the Central bank of the United States, the Federal Reserve. Apart from this he was the chair of the Department of Economics and a tenured Professor for the Princeton University from 1996-2002. He also served as one of the Board of Governors for the Federal Reserve System for a span of three years.
