Navin Gulia shares inspirational stories of his own life and struggles to overcome his own physical limitations. In Quest Of The Last Victory looks at the author’s unceasing efforts to accomplish his own goals and ambitions. Navin Gulia held on to his own aspirations and dreams in spite of being totally paralyzed. He transformed his disability into a much greater and higher force. This force propelled him towards greatness and drove him towards fulfillment of his desires. The book shows Gulia’s strenuous efforts towards success and intense determination and focus.
The book shows Gulia’s struggles from childhood onwards and being labeled a dumb and physically weak kid. His desire for appreciation and acceptance drives him to overcome his problems and he steadily gets better until a breathing problem is discovered. This makes him unable to pursue sports any longer. However, he became adept at playing chess, flying a microlight aircraft and hang gliders and studied computer science. Finally, he drove uninterrupted to Ladakh’s Marsimik La, the highest mountain pass in the world that is motorable. The book also shows how he successfully passed the defence examination on way to spending four fulfilling years at the academy.

About Navin Gulia Navin Gulia is an author, adventurer, coach and teacher. He gained entry into the Limca Book of World Records in 2004 after having driven non stop to Marsimik La in Ladakh. After joining the Indian Military Academy in 1994, Gulia suffered a fatal accident during the Passing Out Parade which paralyzed him from the waist onwards. He was able to sit up and use a wheelchair in just four months and completed a computers course with Aptech with 99 per cent. He also completed a computer management PG from Symbiosis.
He also taught at the Queen Mary Technical Institute in Pune and KV, NDA. He has created his own flying and driving controls and runs his own Coaching Academy in Gurgaon. He is also behind ADAA, a unique crusade for the welfare of street kids. Navin Gulia has received numerous awards such as the KavinCare Ability Mastery Award in 2006, Indian People of the Year Award, National Role Model Award, Haryana Gaurav Award, Karmaveer Chakra in 2009, Global Indian of the Year award, ICONGO Karmaveer Puruskar in 2011 and many other awards.
