Kamrul Hassan (Prothom Alo)

Quamrul Hassan is a poet, journalist and sports writer based in Dhaka. A former student of Government Laboratory High School and an ex-cadet of Faujdarhat Cadet College, he studied English at the University of Dhaka. After stints at The Daily Star, Daily Sun and New Age, he is now working for Prothom Alo as a senior sub-editor. A member of the performance poetry group 'Unstable Poets', backed by the British Council, Quamrul is also the founder of Haiku Society of Bangladesh. Hyaku Haiku is his second book of Haiku, which follows Spring Moon (2011).
