Dermatology is expanding everywhere in basic understanding, clinical diagnosis, investigation and therapy. Today, thousands of pages are written and published all over the world. Students, practitioners and dermatologists face difficulty to follow-up this advancement regularly. In this book the authors have tried to accommodate some of the recent advances. The book named “Common Skin Diseases—A Clinical Approach” is being published so that this ever expanding knowledge on skin diseases can be identified and assimilated easily. The subjects are well chosen and presented in alphabetical order. This book is also an extension of my previous book “Essentials of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy” and is expected to be of immense value for students studying MBBS, BSc Nursing, DVD and MD courses and also practitioners. The chapters are complimented with clinical photographs and histopathological microphotographs. Highlights of this book are illustration of procedures, therapy and clinical description.
