Born in Dhaka to Jahan Ara Khanam and A.H.M. Bashir Uddin. Youngest among six brothers and one sister. Third brother expired at the age of 3 or 4 and the fifth one on the same day he was born. Married to Rowshan-Dil-Runa alias 949 and blessed with three daughters Prema, Preeti & Prethula (Preeti Islam survived only 8 days), son-in-law Tahmidur Rahman, Grand Son, Tashfiqur Rahman (R) and a bunch of relatives, friends and well-wishers. Father was a School Teacher at Kazir Pagla A.T. Institution, Kazir Pagla, Louhajang, Munshiganj and Beraid Muslim High School, Beraid, Dhaka and also worked as a Waqf Inspector of Bengal Waqf Board, Dhaka. Had schoolings at Marigold Kindergarten (PP Class to Class 11), Siddique Bazar Road and Ahmed Bawany Academy (Class III to SSC), K.P Ghosh Street, Armenitola, Dhaka. Colleges were Shaheed Suhrawardy College, Laxsmibazar and Jagannath College, Chittaranjan Avenue, Dhaka. Completed Elementary & Intermediate Courses of two years in Japanese Language from 1978 to 1980 at Japanese Language School, Dhaka under the supervision of Embassy of Japan, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Was an active member of Leo Club of Dacca Ramna during 1979 to 1983. Proud of having Major A. Matin Chowdhury (Retd) of the "61 of 71" War Course as mentor in the first job at Graphics Limited in the year of 1980. Heartfelt gratitude to buddy Golam Murshed Chowdhury alias Cizer alias Bob of "Chowdhury Bari", Zindabahar 1st Lane, Dhaka, who arranged the job. From 1981 to 2012 engaged in the Travel, Tourism, Import Trade and Aviation sector as al self-employed and contract basis. Presently, associated with RAS Land Based Fish Farming technology Travelled to few countries of Asia, North America, and Europe. Interested in reading, music, brainstorming games & quiz e.g., Crossword, Scrabble, Sudoku etc. and practicing meditation and yoga.
