M A Hossain

MA Hossain is a freedom Fighter, Krishibid (agriculturist), teacher, researcher, consultant and above all a reader. He was educated in Bangladesh, Japan and US Universities. He worked at BAU, BFRI, NSTU; USAID, EU and JICA aided development projects. At public universities, M A Hossain served at all levels of academic positions; and most of the administrative posts, except Provost and Proctor. He joined BAU in 1977 and retired from NSTU in 2021. In between, he served at Research institute and development sector. This tome is his biggest research publication outside of his academic loop. MA Hossain is currently Vice Chairman of FREPD's Research Board, a voluntary non-profit research organization linked with DU.
