ড. প্রকাশ চন্দ্র বিশ্বাস ড. প্রকাশ চন্দ্র বিশ্বাসের জন্ম ঝিনাইদহ জেলার হরিণাকুণ্ডুতে। বাবা হরিণাকুণ্ডু প্রিয়নাথ মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়ের সাবেক প্রধান শিক্ষক প্রয়াত গোপাল চন্দ্র বিশ্বাস ও মাতা প্রয়াত ঊষা রাণী বিশ্বাস। শৈশব, কৈশোর ও তার পরবর্তী উচ্চমাধ্যমিক পর্যন্ত তিনি হরিণাকুণ্ডুর গ্রামীণ আবহে বেড়ে ওঠেন। তিনি ইসলামী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় (কুষ্টিয়া) থেকে ইংরেজি সাহিত্যে সম্মানসহ স্নাতক ও স্নাতকোত্তর এবং পিএইচডি ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেন। ড. বিশ্বাস বর্তমানে একই বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে ইংরেজি বিভাগের সহযোগী অধ্যাপক হিসেবে কর্মরত। ইংরেজি সাহিত্যের পাশাপাশি বাংলা সাহিত্য পঠন ও পাঠন তাঁর আগ্রহের বিষয়। তাঁর প্রকাশিত 'Novels of D.
