Mrs Khan's Diamond is meant to be fun. I have consciously avoided using decorative language or narrative (unlike the historical fantasy project) so that reading could be seamless. The story presents a number of riddles and mysteries for its readers to solve. It also contains a fair amount of deduction. The narrative is rooted in realism. Mr Pluto is a grounded character someone who is intelligent but possesses no - superhuman ability. His story is my imagining of the professional adventures of private detectives in real life (much like J.K.Rowling's Cormoran Strike series). I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed crafting it.
