Product Specification & Summary

Ethics is the branch of philosophy dealing with values relating to human conduct, with respect to the rightness and wrongness of certain actions and to the goodness and badness of the motives and ends of such actions. Values are acquired through knowledge, awareness, experience, or the socialization process. These ideas or beliefs are dear to us, and we decide what is right and what is wrong based on them.
So, values are principles, standards, or characteristics that are thought to be desirable. Good values lead to good thoughts, and which in turn lead to good behavior. Ethics and Values together lay the foundation for sustainability. Some values, such as efficiency, do not have an ethical component. Some ethical values involve qualities of an ethical; such as honesty and integrity Ethical values are the standards of good and evil, which govern an individual’s behavior and choices. They help us decide what is right and wrong, and they motivate us to do the right thing. We should treat people equally and justly. When we are fair, we give everyone a chance to succeed. We must be fair in our dealings with other people, particularly when we are mediating a dispute. Human values are those that enable man to live in harmony with the rest of the world.
Ethics refers to a system of moral principles; whereas Values are associated with the thought process, a person’s sense of what is wrong and what is right. Ethics aligns with a professional setup; whereas Values are associated with personal aspects of a person. Individuals form values as a result of socialization from their parents, religious institutions, friends, personal experiences, and society.
Individual values are influenced by our religious beliefs, social systems in place, and, to some extent, socioeconomic conditions. Basic inherent values in humans are truth, honesty, loyalty, love, and peace, among others, because they bring out the fundamental goodness of human beings and society as a whole. The values of the family enable the child to stand firm in his beliefs despite attempts by others to persuade him otherwise. A child who has a strong sense of right and wrong is less likely to fall prey to deviant influences.
A world without some moral values would be a scary place. Imagine if everyone was out for themselves and no one cared about the well-being of others. It's also important to be honest and have integrity. By establishing a personal moral code based on our own critical thinking, learning from others, and listening to people we respect, we can ensure we are good and ethical people throughout our lives.
These key ethical concepts make up the main content of the Islamic ethical worldview, which primarily stems from tawḥid or the Oneness of God. Most people believe that moral values are learned. This means that they are not something that we are born with, but something that we acquire through our experiences and interactions with others. The Seven Pillars of Character are honesty, trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, kindness, and belief to Almighty. An effort has been taken to prepare this article on the basis of general ethical principles of moral values to develop student character at the aim to build better citizen for the nation.
