Dr. Russel is a member of DSI, ASQ, POMS, and IIE. She has received numerous awards including the Pamplin College of Business Certificate of Teaching Excellence, University Certificate of Teaching Excellence, and the MBA Association's Outstanding Professor Award. Her research interests include areas of production and operations management, service operations management, scheduling and quality.
