Edward G. Pita is Professor in the Environmental Control Technology Department at New York City Technical College of the City University of New York. He completed his BS degree from Purdue University, an MS degree from Columbia University, and a PhD degree from the University of Maryland. He was chief mechanical engineer for a large consulting engineering firm for the United Nations and many other governmental and private clients.
