Marketing is all around us. From morning to night, we face marketing campaign. So, we all need to know something about marketing concept and process. Marketing is being used not only by manufacturing organizations, wholesalers and retailers, but also by all kinds of individuals and organizations. Lawyers, accountants and doctors use marketing concept and process to manage demand for their services. No politician can get the needed votes and no resort the needed tourists, without developing and carrying out marketing efforts. We live in the age of science and technology and now it is very easy to produce almost everything, but it is very difficult to sell in the marketplace. Moreover, the students of BBA and MBA program who have taken marketing as their major subject will need this book. I think this book will be very useful for them. Some terms are very important for the students; they must have a clear idea about them. So, I felt the necessity to write a book by including the key terms of marketing. I think, after passing BBA and MBA program, it is not possible for all students to study all courses of marketing on chapter by chapter basis. They have to learn only the key terms of marketing. I think this book will be very helpful for them. They will be able to learn all important terms of marketing within a short span of time. When they move from one city to another, it is not possible to take all books in their luggage. So I think this book will be very helpful. I have tried to discuss all the terms in short and simple language so that students can easily understand these key marketing terms. I have tried to collect different definitions on a single term from various sources and authors. While writing this book, Therefore, I have tried to maintain the sequence of the terms so that students can easily find out them quickly. So, the terms have been arranged alphabetically. The book has received widespread adoption at both the graduate and undergraduate levels in Bangladesh.
