She has written regular columns on nutrition in the Deccan Chronicle and the Deccan Herald and has done several television shows on nutrition and health. Having done a certification course under Project Hope, affiliated to Diabetes International, UK, she is also one of the major diabetes educators in India.
Sucheta P. Dandekar is currently Professor and Head, Department of Biochemistry, G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai. She is a distinguished teacher and research guide actively engaged in reproductive biochemistry. She has long been associated with Medical Education Technology Cell at Seth G.S.
