About E. Lockhart E. Lockhart is the pen name of Emily Jenkins, who is a famous writer of young adult novels, children’s picture books and adult fiction. She holds a PhD in English Literature from the esteemed Columbia University. She teaches Creative Writing there. Her work Disreputable History was a Printz Award honour book. It also ran as a finalist for the National Book Award and won the author the Cybils Award for best young adult fiction. Some of her other notable works are The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks, Fly on the Wall, Dramarama, and the Ruby Oliver series of four books: The Boyfriend List, The Boy Book, The Treasure Map of Boys, and Real Live Boyfriends.
