এস.আর. জোশী

Dr. S.R. Joshi has a good academic career and was the Best Graduate of North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) in 1985. He was a Gold Medalist in B.Sc. and M.Sc. as well from the same university. He did his B.Ed. in 1993 and was also a Gold Medalist in B.Ed. examination. He has authored eight books on areas relating to Environment, Science and Health Education. He has a number of research publications in reputed national and international journals. He joined the teaching profession in 1989 in St. Anthony`s College (a college with five star accreditation by NAAC). He was instrumental in starting the Biotechnology Department in St. Anthony`s College, Shillong, which was the only college offering B.Sc. in Biotechnology at the UG level in North East. He headed the departments of Biotechnology and Biochemistry in the same college till he left the college. He has also been teaching in College of Teacher Education (Postgraduate Training College) since 1993. He is at present a faculty of Centre for Science Education, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, Meghalaya.
