Ready Made Garment (RMG) and Textile industries are the life line for several economies of the world. China, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan and many other countries earn bulk of their foreign exchange from RMG and textile exports. Furthermore, many economies, for example- Bangladesh, are solely dependent on this single sector. The clothing industry is expected to sustain until the mankind perishes since clothing is the second important basic need for human after food. At present, RMG industry requires a pool of technically competent human resources who are capable to steer this ever-growing industry, keeping pace with faster changing human needs for fashion, known as “Fast Fashion”. Globally, many public and private universities are producing RMG and textile graduates by conducting different programs. But when these graduates are prepared to enter in the industry, they find it immensely difficult to face job interviews because they cannot pile up the learning materials, they went through their study periods. Later on, when they start their career from trainee or assistant stage, they find it very difficult to cope up with the industry due to not having all essential information briefly compiled at a single place. This book can act as a self-help guide for them that will help face the job interviews for entry or mid-level jobs in different departments like – Merchandising, Marketing, Material Management, Procurement, Industrial Engineering, Product Development, Washing, Sample, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing and so on in Ready-Made Garment industry or in local or foreign buying houses/liaison offices. I strongly believe, this book can guide the apparel, textile and fashion graduates from the very first day of their undergraduate programs (B.Sc. or Bachelor) and also for the job seekers, exit examinees and comprehensive viva candidates in RMG and textile industries.
