The exponential increase in the number of vehicles on road and the faster lifestyle of most citizens has lead to an increase in the number of accidents on the roads and household as well as industrial trauma. For example instances of electrical chemical or physical burns are now frequently common. There are also recurrent natural disasters in which the magnitude of trauma is unimaginable. To handle such challenges effectively proper knowledge and management of the trauma victims is required. Well-trained doctors on the whole are responsible for providing resuscitation transfer and in- hospital management of trauma victims. This book is an effort to educate and inform the doctors in all disciplines about the trauma and its management. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation which is the most frequent treatment needed has been discussed in detail. Trauma management involves a great role in planning and administration. About the Author Dr. Pramod Kumar is working as a senior professor and HOD Anaesthesiology MP Shah Medical College Jamnagar Gujarat. He is involved in the teaching and profession of anaesthesiology since last 30 years as faculty member in Institute.of Medical Sciences BHU Varanasi Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences Wardha and SSS Institute of Higher Medical Sciences Prasanthigram (AP). He was the founder Treasurer Secretary Vice-President and President of Indian Society for Study of Pain (lSSP) which is Indian chapter of International Association for Study of Pain (USA). He has been involved with the founding of South Asian Federation of Pain Societies West Zone ISA as their advisor and coordinator.
