About the Authors Cay S. Horstmann is a German computer scientist and academician. He currently teaches a course in computer science at San Jose State University.
A graduate of the Christian-Albrechts-Universität in Kiel, Dr. Horstmann completed his M.S. in computer science from Syracuse University and went on to obtain his Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
