This book is about the 1971 liberation war as the author saw it. This is not a complete portrayal of those fateful nine months of 1971; neither is this a collection of only selected snapshots. It is a partial narrative focusing on the events, characters, places and emotions that came his way during those long months. In this book, author hasn't tried to write history, although what he says in the here may have a historical perspective and value. Dr. Khashruzzaman Choudhury started his career as an administrator in Civil Service of Pakistan in 1971. Later he was a Professor of Economics in USA. While serving as Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) he joined liberation war in 1971 and engaged himself with the then Mujibnagar Government as Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs. In recipient to his contribution to the liberation war, he was awarded highest Civil Award "Swadhinata Padak" in 2014.
