This book reappraises the diplomatic relations of Japan for a comprehensive and strategic partnership with Bangladesh. It aspires to comprehend the Japanese model to change the development paradigm of Bangladesh. This book presents a new agenda for Japanese cooperation that demands to operate in Bangladesh's sustainable and inclusive development by 2041. By introducing a comprehensive taxonomy of soft diplomatic power, this book opens a new direction of diplomatic relations that cuts across recent internal divisions and discussions in international development and cooperation fields. Moreover, this book provides a new standpoint on the contemporaneous significance of Japan-Bangladesh relations by situating it within the larger historical context of political, economic, cultural, and diplomatic engagements between the two nations across Asia. The rigorous theoretical and empirical analysis presented in this book provides readers with profound insights into the nature of relationships between Bangladesh-Japan and its future macro impact.
