ড. আবদুল্লাহ্ শিবলী

Dr. Abdullah Shibli writes regularly for The Daily Star, Bangladesh's largest circulation English language newspaper. He wrote a column "Letter from Boston" from 2008- 2014 for the Star Literature Review (SLR). He also writes on economics for the Op-Ed page; short stories and non-fiction for SLR; and book reviews for the Book Review section. He is the author of the book," Investment Opportunities, Household Savines, and Rates of Return on Investment" and several papers in refereed journals. Dr. Shibli received his under- graduate education at Dhaka University and finished his graduate education in Economics at Boston University. He worked for Harvard University and the World Bank. He was on the faculty of Dhaka University, and several US Universities in Massachusetts, USA where he taught Economics and Computer Information Systems. Currently he works in information technology in the healthcare sector in Boston. Dr. Shibli lives in Easton, MA with his wife, and has two children.
