1943: the creation of maltova Maltova was created in Malta in 1943 - two sisters, Elizabeth and Margaret, understood that babies needed a unique and soft product to help transition from milk to solid foods. After trying various ideas, their persistence paid off and Maltova was born. With its unique texture and secret formula, Maltova was an instant hit and many mothers in the village started to queue up behind the doors of the two sisters to get hold of Maltova. The mothers in the village started to realise that their fussy-feeding babies just loved to eat Maltova. The word spread fast and soon Maltova was being produced seven days a week to keep up with demand.
